Project 7 - Part 1:
White on White
Project 7 - Part 2:
Black on Black
EQUIPMENT TO CHECK OUT:
- Camera w/ tether cord
- Salon Stand
- White Lightning Monoheads
w/all lighting attachments
- CStands and Stands
- Reciever Transiever Radio slaves
w/long slave cord
PROPS TO BRING:
- Both black + white props materials
to be the focal point of the image (Perferably non reflective)
- Matching black and white materials
for background that you intend to
use that is different from what the
studio has for your group to utilize
Assignment 7 Instructions Part 1
- White on White
-In a group as we did in class you are to produce a small series of images that show a properly exposed White on White subject.
Exposure as usual is key. Minimal highlight clipping is allowed. Use the Histagram to guide youre exposure to look something like this:

Assignment 7 Instructions Part 2
- Black on Black
-Like the White on White assignment your same group should produce Black on Black images as we did in class.
Exposure in this case is in the underexposed range. So minimal shadow clipping is ideal but often can't be avoided. Use the Histagram to guide youre exposure to look something like this:

A Note on Tethered Exposure and Lightroom
As we went over in class you are to tether the camera using Lightroom catalog system. Make your exposures acording to each of this two part assignment.
When your finished shooting you need to "Export to .dng" the selected final images from the catalog to the desktop.
